God’s timing is always perfect. He sees everything from beginning to end. Even when we try to plow ahead of him, he patiently waits for us to let him lead.
It seems as though I have been carrying this “baby” in my heart for a very long time. More than once in the past several months I thought it was ready for delivery. I kept trying to put a period where God wanted to put a comma. At times, I wanted to “push” but God was saying “pause.” The Father always knows best. He knew exactly when it would be ready. I am so grateful for his constant patience and guidance.
His grace has been more than sufficient to carry me through this almost three-year book writing journey. Writing this book has stretched me in ways I could not have imagined. I thank God for my family who has faithfully walked with me to see this work to completion. I thank God for the friends who caught my vision for this book and also journeyed with me. I am so very grateful for the countless prayers and encouragement that helped me persevere to finish, especially on those really hard days! You are all a part of this story.
So here it is everyone. My first book is finished and has gone for printing!! Nuggets from the Heart is a collection of some of my testimonies giving God the glory for his faithfulness to me during the storms and trials of my life. The Nuggets are my “God Stories” of grace, love, mercy, hope, peace, healing and more. God wrote the stories on my heart…then he had me put them on paper. This is why I refer to this book as my “heart on paper!”
What a journey this has been! I’m not sure exactly how God will use this book, but I do believe it will serve a purpose in touching many hearts. That is my prayer. I’m excited and eager to see what He does with it!! So celebrate with me and stay tuned!
Nuggets from the Heart is coming this Fall and the release date will be announced soon. More GOD times ahead!
